SUARDIAZ Expands Its IATA-Certified Air Freight Capabilities into Morocco

By Angel Rodriguez, Barcelona Office Manager, Suardiaz Group

SUARDIAZ has expanded its IATA-certified air freight capabilities into Morocco, strengthening its ability to manage air export operations directly with airlines. The accreditation enables the company to operate as an accredited IATA agent from Morocco, adding to its existing capabilities in Spain and France.

This accreditation brings greater operational flexibility. As an accredited IATA agent, SUARDIAZ can negotiate air freight rates directly with airlines, manage bookings more efficiently, and maintain greater control over cargo operations. Rather than relying on third parties for these activities, the team can manage them directly while maintaining closer oversight throughout the export process.

For forwarders, that also means working with a partner that has direct access to airline networks in Morocco. Whether supporting regular exports or more specialised cargo requirements, the additional capability gives customers another option backed by an experienced team already operating across several international markets.

Strengthening Air Freight Operations in Casablanca and Tangier

SUARDIAZ has an established presence in Morocco through its offices in Casablanca and Tangier. Becoming an accredited IATA agent strengthens that local operation while expanding the range of air freight services the company can provide from the country.

The certification also builds on experience already developed elsewhere in the business. Having operated as an accredited IATA agent in both Spain and France, SUARDIAZ has now extended those capabilities into Morocco, creating greater consistency across its western Mediterranean operations. Customers moving cargo between these markets can work with a team that understands both the operational and commercial requirements of international air freight.

Supporting High-Value Industries

These expanded capabilities are particularly valuable for customers operating in the automotive manufacturing and aerospace sectors, where speed, accuracy, and coordination remain critical. SUARDIAZ has built experience supporting both industries, and the Morocco accreditation further strengthens its ability to manage air freight requirements for these specialist markets.

By working directly with airlines and managing export operations in-house, the company can support customers whose shipments demand close attention throughout the booking and export process.

A Stronger Partner for the Freyt World Network

For Freyt World members, SUARDIAZ's expanded IATA-certified capabilities add another experienced air freight partner within the network. Members looking for support in Morocco now have access to an accredited IATA agent with established operations in Casablanca and Tangier, supported by experience in France and Spain and direct relationships with airlines.

As members continue developing trade opportunities across Europe and North Africa, having capable local partners with certified air freight expertise helps create stronger connections throughout the network.

"This achievement marks another step forward in our international growth and our dedication to connecting markets with efficiency and expertise." — The SUARDIAZ Team

We are honored to have SUARDIAZ as a member of our community and look forward to seeing the new heights they reach with this accreditation.
